Halfway Done With The HMTC!

Hola,

I’m Halfway done with HMTC, I got my flight plans yayyy! I'm super excited to head to California! I’ll be heading out December 16 . I'm on the computer most of the day and study tons during my breaks so I'm ready to go out and teach.(hopefully) I love my MTC teachers they always make it light and fun so we don't go crazy ! Here’s a funny quote from my teacher Hermano Marcado “I had a dream that  I had the corona virus then it was Christmas and I was eating pizza.” (All this in his strong accent)

My spanish has come a long way compared to the first day. I set small goals to improve something each day so that I don’t feel overwhelmed. Sometimes it's nothing big, but little by little I'm growing & learning.

I was so grateful to hear President Nelson's message this week! I SO needed that. I think we all did.  I'm so very grateful that today we have a modern day prophet who leads and guides us. I loved his message on how we can focus on the positive and give thanks to our Father in Heaven.President Nelson said “He has concluded that counting one's blessings is far better than recounting their problems. “No matter our situation, showing gratitude for our privileges is a unique, fast-acting, and long-lasting spiritual prescription”.

Focusing on joy and living Christ centered life brings us so much peace and comfort. Yet that is precisely the joy the Savior offers. His joy is constant, assuring us that our “afflictions shall be but a small moment” (Doctrine and Covenants 121:7

Love you all ,

Hermana Green
