Hola, Familia Y Amigos

Hi Everyone,

Things have been going great! Hermana Ivins and I have been working so hard. My favorite part of being a missionary is I just have to focus on OTHERS & doing the lords work, no other worries! It's amazing how much you can accomplish when you forget yourself. I LOVE IT .  This past week was pretty cool the Church sent its media people to video missionaries from our mission. They focused on the service we do in the community. We do service in a lot of areas around my mission and it's been such a blessing to help others.  My companion and I were in the video so that was pretty neat.  We also did some service by helping put tile in a kitchen for a family .... You can say we had NO Idea what we were doing so we ended up cleaning dishes for the wife instead haha it's the thought that counts right !

Our friend Benjamin is still on date for baptism so please keep him in your prayers. We work hard but so does satan. Benjamin can't read but he has so much faith , and he listens to the Book Of Mormon on his phone.  I'm so grateful for modern day technology and how easy we can access the scriptures, the word of God is right in our hands. He struggles but has a desire to learn and I know the Lord is very aware of him.

I have been able to grow my testimony of the book Of Mormon while on my mission . I promise as you read it you will come to know our Savior and feel the love God has for all his children. The Bible teaches us about prophets in Jerusalem, In the  Book of Mormon we learn of prophets in the ancient Americas. TODAY we have living prophets and apostles.

I LOVE that everyday I get to testify of this.

In my personal studies this week I was reading Ephesians 2:20 "And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.

We also  had an awesome zone conference this week. Sister Smith (mission PRES.wife) talked about hope.I wrote down so many notes but here is what stood out to me. What is hope ? Hope is trust in the Lord. Hope is focused on the future. Then charity is the NOW ! I just love this. Hope is the confident expectation of and longing for the promised blessings of righteousness. The scriptures often speak of hope as anticipation of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.

I hope you all have a wonderful week and remember to look for ways to help others in need :)

Love you all,

Hermana Green
