Miracles :)

Hola!

This week has been great lots of little miracles. One thing I have learned on my mission is that if we look for the good every day we can  be happy, When we make the bad moments into happy times is when we grow and learn the most. For example we had some lessons lined up and they all fell through. Nobody was home and we felt SO bummed. However we ended up meeting some cool people on the street that evening and also found a cherry tree! :) I was trying to jump to grab some with no success. My comp helped pull me up to get some off a tree and we enjoyed the sweet cherries. We turned the evening into a positive experience. Missionary work is full of ups and downs yet if we just keep positive we can accomplish so much more. I'm grateful for these experiences. It has helped me to always remember to stay positive even when it's hard and trust me it gets hard ! haha

Another cool experience  this week was the Book Of Mormon experiment. We just walked up to random people on the street and asked if they would read a verse in the BOM. I had lots of people tell me I was crazy....lots of people. We did however meet 2 people Jose & Gracie who said this was so awesome and Gracie said she needed a reminder about Christ & wanted to work on her faith. Crazy conversation to have with someone on the street that you just met. I loved this experience. I love sharing my testimony of the Book Of Mormon, and I especially love when others feel the love God has for them ! never in my wildest dreams would I  ever think I'd be  walking up to strangers asking them to read some verses in the Book Of Mormon in Spanish haha I love it !!!

I'm still in the office in the social media  district. I'm currently working on creating ads now & learning how to use Adobe Illustrator. It's been so fun. I'm learning so much, The church is really using social media to share the gospel. We meet often with the mission president and discuss ways we can reach people, I feel blessed to have this very unique experience. Our mission is doing a pilot program with us and we are trying to help produce context for the church website so It's really exciting to be a part of it.

One thought I'd like to share with you is from our recent stake conference. We talked about how Christ's Atonement is infinite; we are never out of his reach; there is nothing that we can do that the Savior can't heal. During the Book of Mormon experiment we talked to one girl who told us she feels like she can't be forgiven. How sad it is for her to think she can't be forgiven, many people believe this and that's exactly what satan wants us to believe. We CAN be forgiven. We are not perfect but Christ and Heavenly Father have a perfect love for us.

Love you all,

 Hermana Green
