Hello
Hello everyone ! These past couple of weeks have been super busy. Transfers happened this week and I'm getting a new companion Hermana Luca , I'm super excited to start working with her. I will be staying in the office in the social media district. We will be covering 2 wards now so we'll be busy busy. Our area we cover is much bigger now which just means more people to find !
Lots of miracles have happened this week. We met a cool guy named Alfonso while at the park. We sat at his table and started to talk with him about life and some of his challenges. We had a great conversation with him and he just started to cry. It was such a neat experience for us to just share our faith in Christ and that's exactly what united us. The spirit was so strong as we spoke with him. Turns out he told us he had met with the missionaries before in this exact table. We really just listened to his story and sometimes that's what people need , just to know that someone cares. I myself was so touched I was teary eyed ! Strangers crying together really should happen more often ! God has perfect timing and puts us exactly where we need to be to help others. I have had soooo many experiences where I have seen this. Everyday I get to be his hand and I'm so grateful to get to be a small part in the big picture.
I have loved the opportunity I have to serve in the social media district . We have started a series called questions within. We travel around our mission area and video members' testimonies and we get to listen to their stories and hardships that many of them have faced. We take these video interviews back to the office and compile them & edit them. I love to share these beautiful stories with the world through social media. It's been such a growing experience for me to interview and document all these wonderful testimonies . The other day we traveled down south of our mission and we filmed some spanish members and they wanted to share their testimonies in their native dialect .It was SO beautiful to listen to them speak. I just loved it so much. It's amazing to me that even tho I couldn't quite understand some of their dialect I could still feel the spirit testifying, it was so powerful and sincere.
I hope you all have a wonderful week and remember to be kind to those you meet , you never know what trails they are going through. Open your hearts & listen.
love you all,
Hermana Green
