K Onda!

Hello Everyone!
It's been a bit since I wrote an email ! It's been eventful so here is a recap .


-  being a STL (sister trainer leader) has kept us  busy with zone conferences . We spent 2 days straight training the missionaries on social media. I'm still in the social media district so that  keeps us super busy.


- We also filmed and edited a devotional for El dia de los muertos (the day of the dead). It was awesome , lots of work but worth it. Missionaries use these devotionals to watch with their friends so we try really hard to make them meaningful.


- This Sunday we went to primary  with Steven, our little 4 yr old Buddy, his dad is one of our friends and he wanted to go to the elders quorum .Steven only speaks Spanish so he was a little nervous. We did some crafts with him. He's a happy, cute little boy ! We just love him !!!


- Bishop's car broke down so our friend Jose Luis helped jump his car . He's been coming to church now for about 3 months. It's awesome to see how he loves the ward and feels at home . 


-We are SO excited for tomorrow our friend Evert is getting baptised ! He's from Guanajuato Mexico , and has a strong testimony and is so ready !!


-I've been out for 1 year !!! I can't believe it !


-we had a ward trunk or treat and sister lucas and I decorated our car and gave out pass along cards and book of mormons and candy of course. :)


- I'll include pics of all these events , I hope you all have a fantastic week and always remember that God LOVES you !!!

Hello Everyone     This week has been awesome. We've been busy finding new friends and working in the office, I'm amazed at how we are able to accomplish our goals each week. On Saturday we received a referral and went to visit the family, however when we arrived at the apartment the man that answered the door said we had the wrong address. Of course we didn't turn away but we shared a message with him and invited him to church Sunday. We were surprised when we saw him walk in the doors Sunday. I was SO EXCITED ! I know the Lord has a plan for everyone and this young man took a leap of faith from what little he knew about the church, he felt something and wanted to learn more. It's hard sometimes to get our friends to come to church but then little miracles happen like this and I'm reminded that this is the Lord's work and our job as missionaries is to help people feel the spirit. I'm excited to teach him and help him recognize the spirit. I'll keep you ...

2 Baptisms & Christmas!

Hello Everyone   So many great things happened the last few weeks, First of all we had 2 baptisms last week !  Pablo got baptized and we are so happy for him! He is such a light ! He wants to serve a mission and has such a strong testimony. His baptism was scheduled for sunday but he was leaving town to go work and so we hurried and got his baptism together in 3 hours !  Then are friend Kevin was baptized by his father. His family is so humble and kind. I was so grateful to be a part of his special day.    We are teaching a really great family and they had a daughter that just turned 8 so they invited us to her party. I Love to teach these little girls. It's been so fun to watch them learn about the gospel. My companion and I made a ton of sugar cookie cut outs and used them in our lessons for the kids & they love it !  I can't get away from making cookies haha  We are also teaching a neat...

6 MONTHS!!!

Hola!     Well I'm at my 6 month mark and I can't even believe it ! Time flies when you're  having fun !!      San Jose is the place to be and I'm enjoying my new assignment. The office has been pretty great so far, very different from what I'm used to but I'm learning the ropes fast. It's amazing what the church is doing with social media these days, we are able to reach so many people this way. I've been put in charge of the instagram(Spanish page) for our mission. I also instruct other missionaries on the use of their instagram page, and help them learn how to share the gospel on social media. It's been a unique part of the mission so far! We are still teaching some great people here in San Jose and I'm excited when we get to leave the office to  go teach ! My new companion is Hermana Yoder from Boise Idaho. She's super cute ! She produces all  the spanish videos for the social media pages and I'm her sidekick :)      I LOVE bein...
